Perth Wedding Photographer – Susan & Josh

Most photographers will of course showcase their best photographs, but one thing you should ask your photographer is to see images from a whole wedding, including family portraits. I am using Susan & Josh’s wonderful Mulberry on Swan Wedding to give you an overview of the day, by all means this isn’t ALL of their photos but these are my favourites and I feel tell the story of their wedding perfectly.

It was a glorious April afternoon in the swan valley and the light was sublime resulting in some beautiful photos. So please sit back and enjoy. Congratulations Susan & Josh

Perth Wedding Photographer – Abi & Steve

Abi & Steve were married at the Vietnam War Memorial in Kings Park on a beautiful afternoon in April. I absolutely loved the Kombi that Abi’s family arrived in and after a short and sweet ceremony we had some shots at the memorial then down to the Perth skyline followed by some photos at the South Perth Yacht Club which looked stunning in white and light green.

Congratulations Abi & Steve

(perth wedding photographer) AIPP Accreditation

2011 saw Aveley Photography voted the best wedding photography business in WA in the ABIA awards with a satisfaction rating of 97% as voted by past brides.

Today not long after shooting my 50th Wedding I am very proud and thrilled to announce I am now an accredited professional photographer with the AIPP.

This is the culmination of a lot of hard work, dedication, investment and blood sweat and tears to get to this level – a professional photographer.

What is accreditation?

Well an accredited professional photographer has been assessed by a national panel to ensure each accredited member achieves and maintains an expected level of craftsmanship.

Is professional – operates a registered business

Has liability insurance

Agrees to follow the AIPP code of ethics and AIPP terms and conditions of membership

Agrees to abide by the AIPP accredited Membership Business Requirements

Is experienced – every accredited member has a minimum of two years industry experience

Has the skill, creativity style and ability to get the job done on time and on budget

Never stops learning – through the AIPP Continuous Professional Development program all Accredited Members must take part in workshops and seminars throughout the year to ensure they continue to develop along with the industry.

When using Aveley Photography for your special day you can be assured of the highest quality and service, that you are engaging a professional photographer for your day.

(perth wedding photographer) kristy & brad

Kristy and Brad were married at Kings Park 31 March 2012 on the same afternoon as the Choir Boys Concert so our photo sessions were to the backdrop of Run to Paradise – which made it a little more special and got the old feet moving. It was a glorious autumn afternoon with blue skies sunshine and just the right amount of wispy white clouds in the sky. Kristy and Brad were a joy to photograph indulging my wacky request to pose with a caterpillar type creature. Congratulations on a beautiful Wedding.

{perth wedding photographer} Nikita & Keith

It was such a pleasure being a second photographer for Keith & Nikita’s wedding (lead photographer was Celeste Hamilton from Eternal Bliss Images), as I had the opportunity to play around a little and focus more on taking some candid shots. Here are some of my favourites.
